June 10, 2025

Case #: 2025-004301

A 38-year-old Bradenton woman was arrested Monday night for torching her boyfriend's vehicle and nearly burning down their home. Natasha Killebrew faces charges of arson and violation of probation.

At around 8:20 p.m., Bradenton firefighters and officers responded to a blaze at 2019 9th St W, where they found a Nissan Altima engulfed in flames. The fire was spreading to an adjacent apartment.

Witnesses reported seeing Killebrew near the burning car. Killebrew, who was on scene, told officers she lives with her boyfriend in the damaged apartment, and the vehicle belonged to him. Initially, she denied starting the fire, but later claimed she had thrown a lit cigarette near the car. She changed her story again, telling officers she doused herself and the Altima in cooking oil and tried to set herself on fire. There were no burn marks on Killebrew or her clothing. Once the excuses were snuffed out, Killebrew was arrested.
