Case #:2024-008914

The Bradenton Police Department's Crime Reduction Team (CRT) recently arrested a 70-year-old fugitive from New Hampshire, wanted on multiple counts of felonious sexual assault on children.

David Duncan, 70, has been investigated by the Campton, NH Police Department since June 2024. Detectives notified the Bradenton Police Department about the ongoing investigation after determining Duncan was in Florida and using a Post Office box in Bradenton.

In September, Bradenton Police located Duncan living in a vehicle and notified Campton investigators. Detectives approached Duncan and established a cordial relationship with the suspect to keep tabs on him.

On November 1, Campton police secured arrest warrants for Duncan, and Bradenton PD's CRT took him into custody without incident. He is being held at the Manatee County jail awaiting extradition to New Hampshire on the following charges:

  • Six counts of aggravated felony sexual assault on a minor

  • Two counts of pattern aggravated felony sexual assault on a minor

  • One count of felony sexual assault

There isnโ€™t any information suggesting Duncan was involved in criminal activity in Bradenton.
