Teen arrested for armed burglary

Date: January 12, 2021

On January 4, 2021, around 5:30 AM, Bradenton PD officers responded to a call of a suspicious person at High Noon Guns in the 5200 block of SR 64 E. Officers quickly arrived and found the business had been burglarized and firearms taken.

On January 5, 2021, Bradenton PD Detectives identified a vehicle and suspect seen in surveillance footage taken from the store. Detectives from Bradenton PD and the Manatee County Sheriffโ€™s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2600 block of 5th Avenue E in Palmetto, FL, where evidence related to this case was recovered.

This afternoon the suspect, a fourteen-year-old black male of Palmetto, FL, was arrested and charged with the following:

Armed Burglary
Felony Criminal Mischief Theft of a Firearm
