Fatal crash involving motorcycle on 14th St. W. near 11th Ave. W.

The Bradenton Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle in the 1100 block of 14th St. W. The crash occurred shortly before Noon.  

Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle struck a small SUV, veered off the road, and hit a building. The motorcycle operator sustained fatal injuries. No one in the SUV was injured.   

Traffic Homicide Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to continue the investigation.   

The crash investigation required the closure of southbound 14th St. W. between 9th and 12th Avenues W. and northbound 14th St. W. between 12th and 11th Avenues W.  

The motorcycle operator's name will not be released at this time.
