Applications Accepted for BPD Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program

The Bradenton Police Department is pleased to announce its 6th Annual Florida Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program. This grant program provides financial support to neighborhood agencies and organizations engaged in projects that seek to improve neighborhood safety, promote crime prevention, drug prevention, drug education, drug treatment services, or school resource programs. Neighborhood groups, associations, or organizations developing or offering specific projects to address these areas of concern can apply for funding. There are no matching fund requirements and no restrictions on funds requested or the scope of the project requesting support.  

This program will provide funds to community groups, associations, or organizations providing services to residents within the municipal boundaries of the City of Bradenton. 

In 2022, 10 organizations received funding totaling $30,000.  

Please submit applications to the Bradenton Police Department by 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023.
